BMW Gearbox Double Clutch
BMW M GmbH introduces newest gearbox. The name of gearbox they created is M DCT (M Double-Clutch Transmission). Actually, this technology isn’t something new because they have introduced first time in 2002 set at VW Golf R32. Even, in 1996 BMW M GmbH has created gearbox sequential. The operation system is controlled by hydraulic electronic without pedal clutch. After creating three generation sequential M Gearbox, created this M DCT.
This specialties of M DCT system, change gear fast, the power is constant and without influencing consumption when we change the gears. However, this M DCT claimed that it is very comfortable to use everyday.
Working with Getrag, BMW is the first producer to create gearbox double clutch with 7 speeds. This transmission is designed to machine V8 with rotation machine up to 9.000 rpm.
Moreover, transmission M double clutch set at BMW M3 coupe and convertible machine 4.0L V8 with power 420 dk. Designed by program 11 drivelogic with launch control.
