Hybrid Cars are Suggested to Use Artificial Noise for Traffic Safety
Since launched, hybrid cars that are popular with the silence, this vehicle has also negative effect, especially for walkers and blind persons. They worry with their safety. So, the US parliament decided to determine the minimum noise limit of hybrid machine as reported by a media Kompas.com.
Delegation of American Foundation for the Blind and National Federation of the Blind explained that hybrid cars can threat safety of 1.1 million blind persons in US and 20 million persons who are not blind but have bad eyesight. And also people those drive motor cycle and children.
Some parties suggested that hybrid cars should be completed with artificial noises. But, the other parties gave suggestion by using wireless communication technology to solve this problem. Mainly, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opposed up the noises that cause pollution.
The other parties, the Detroit 3, Toyota and six automotive producers in US represented the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturer stated that producers actually support to find the problem solution. But, they don’t find the increase of artificial noises at hybrid machine as solution.
