More About The Fourth Generation of Honda Odyssey
Honda Motor Co. Japan launched one of the best products in MPV segment, All-New Odyssey. This MPV Honda’s model is different with the other models. The newest model of Odyssey is lower. But, the interior room of this MPV is wider than old version. The height of MPV is 1.545 mm.
Variant
In this launching, there are three variants of All-New Odyssey, those are M, L and Li. The interior, there are some color variant choices, “gold” gives sporty and dynamic image, black gives elegant image.
New Technology
This MPV Honda is completed with new technology, camera system from many sides. To special version, there is front seat that can be controlled by push just button. The last version will be marketed in Japan’s market at 13th November 2008. All-New Odyssey is forth generation of Odyssey that began to be presented in 1994.
Consumer expectations offered by Honda to the new product are more economist in fuel consumption and low emission environment. Therefore, Honda uses machine 2.4 liter, DOHC, i-VTEC plus transmission CVT that operate torque converter (combination automatic conventional and CVT). Perform vehicle stronger and satisfied. The consumption of fuel is 13.2 km/liter. So, all the fitur’s controll use DBW or “drive by wire”. And also there is ECON mode to produce fuel consumption more efficient, that is combination of CVT controller and AC.
