Slim Notebook with Intel Dual-Core Processor

Do you like ultra-thin notebook, but does the notebook work very fast? In other word, do you expect slim notebook with Intel dual-core processor?

There is news that Intel was preparing to launch a family of dual-core CPUs for slim notebooks. According to Digitimes, Intel has plans to upgrade the ultra slim notebook portfolio that includes dual-core CPUs before the end of this year.

Intel Core 2 Solo SU3000 will be eliminated and replaced with a Core 2 Duo SU7000. And Pentium SU2000 will be replaced by Core 2 Duo SU4000.

Single-core Celeron will be ‘retired’ and replaced by the Celeron dual-core SU3000. However Celeron 700 single-core will be maintained to meet the needs of entry-level market. The same thing applies to SU9000 at a higher market.

Next December, Intel is scheduled to launch the platform Pine Trail-M for the netbook. However, this new product will be marketed to retail early next year.
